Job Summary
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and managing the company’s internal and external communication strategies to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with business priorities. The role oversees a small team and works closely with senior leadership to strengthen brand reputation, engage diverse stakeholders, and support strategic objectives. The jobholder will manage content development across platforms, lead campaigns, and ensure that communication and engagement materials reflect the company’s standards and values.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with corporate goals, ensuring consistent messaging and cohesive storytelling across all channels.
- Oversee branding, marketing, and campaign initiatives to strengthen brand reputation and engage audiences across the company’s business lines, including security and consulting.
- Lead content development and design teams to deliver high-quality materials for internal and external stakeholders, including websites, reports, email, and social media.
- Engage and manage stakeholders by supporting effective communication, standardizing materials across departments, and handling sensitive or time-critical communications with discretion.
- Support media and public relations efforts by crafting professional client updates, service notices, and collaborating with leadership to build strong external visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
- 5–7 years’ experience in communications, campaign development, or related fields.
- Strong skills in content development, business/technical writing, and messaging strategy.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking with an understanding of emerging markets, technology, and business trends.
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver communication initiatives that strengthen engagement and brand visibility.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
