Role Overview

As Commercial Manager – Nigeria , you will be the driving force behind Mojabet’s operations, growth, and market presence in the country. This is a critical leadership role that blends strategy, execution, and team leadership. You will lead end-to-end operations, ensure alignment with group objectives, and localize products and marketing to meet the needs of Nigerian bettors.

From regulatory engagement to digital activation and customer acquisition, you’ll own the commercial engine that powers Mojabet Nigeria.


Key Responsibilities

Operational & Market Execution

  • Manage day-to-day business operations in Nigeria, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
  • Customize and optimize the Mojabet platform for the Nigerian market—content, offers, payment options, and user flow.
  • Lead local campaign execution including SMS, WhatsApp, and social media engagement strategies tailored to Nigerian users.
  • Liaise with payment providers, telcos, agents, and regulators to support growth, compliance, and service delivery.


Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to grow customer base and market share.
  • Monitor and analyze user behavior, product performance, and local trends to inform strategy.
  • Identify new opportunities for partnerships, acquisitions, or product enhancements specific to Nigeria.


Leadership & Team Building

  • Lead and mentor the Nigerian team, fostering a culture of ownership, high performance, and ethical conduct.
  • Hire and develop top local talent to support operations, marketing, customer support, and business development.
  • Be the main point of contact between Nigeria and Moja Group HQ—ensuring clear communication, alignment, and reporting.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial, operations, or general management role, ideally in betting, fintech, telco, or e-commerce.
  • Deep knowledge of the Nigerian betting and mobile consumer landscape.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Pidgin or a major Nigerian language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using digital platforms and analyzing operational metrics.

  • Strong understanding of Nigerian market dynamics
  • Solid grasp of customer engagement, digital marketing, and user retention
