The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, field experience, and the ability to manage construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field of study.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all phases of civil/building construction projects.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings and ensure accurate implementation.
- Supervise site workers, subcontractors, and artisans to ensure quality standards and adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and enforce compliance with safety and quality regulations.
- Prepare and review work schedules, project timelines, and reports.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to avoid delays.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on technical and site matters.
- Identify potential risks or delays and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and technical reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in civil or building construction, including site supervision and project execution.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction documents.
- Familiarity with construction management tools/software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Nigerian building codes, standards, and construction regulations.
- COREN or NSE membership is an added advantage.
