About the Role:
Cineclub By PlanetG is a new private cinema launching soon. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to serve as our Cinema Technician / Computer Operator. Your role will focus on managing the laptop, playing movies, operating the projector, and ensuring a smooth technical setup for all screenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cinema laptop and play scheduled movies
- Set up and manage the projector and sound system
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Maintain good video and sound quality for each screening
- Assist with lighting and environmental control
- Ensure the screening room is ready and clean for each session
Requirements:
- Comfortable operating laptops, audio/video players, and projectors
- Basic IT knowledge (file types, audio/video setup, USB/hard drive management)
- Reliable and punctual — must be available during showtimes.
- Prior experience in a cinema, event tech, or IT role is an advantage but not required
- Must be willing to learn and adapt to a growing business environment
