Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations to ensure a free-flow process, and also supervise the execution of daily tasks
- Supervision of cost and management accounting functions to ensure monthly trial balance and attendance schedules for completeness, accuracy, and as a basis for other management reports.
- Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities.
- Projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion
- Develop, support, and maintain all financial accounting systems and ensure that they are compliant with IFRS, the Group’s accounting policy, and other regulatory requirements.
- Review the valuation of financial assets/ liabilities regularly and propose journals to state them in line with IFRS Ensure that the consolidated financial statements and reports are prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Group accounting policies, and other regulatory reporting requirements
Requirements :
- First degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or ACCA.
- Minimum of 2-4 years cognate experience as Chief Finance Officer in the financial services sector or the capital market.
- MBA is an advantage.
