2.Job Purpose
As our Business Manager, you’ll work closely with the Founders and leadership team to build and scale the core business and its subsidiaries. From strategy and operations to partnerships and performance, your leadership will shape our trajectory.
3. Principal Accountabilities
- Lead day-to-day business operations across all units (Gallery, Art Storage & Handling, PAC, Events, etc.)
- Develop and execute growth strategies that drive profitability and sustainability
- Manage budgets, P&L, reporting, and financial planning
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, institutions, and vendors
- Identify and incubate new business units and spin-offs
- Oversee project timelines, cross-functional teams, and key deliverables
- Implement efficient systems for operations, sales, and clientele experience
- Guide team development and performance
- Serve as a brand ambassador and thought partner in expanding our presence
- Manage lot inventories by recording and cataloging artwork and items in collections using smart systems and tools for efficiency
- Develops briefs and follows correct procurement procedure for the appointment ofcontractors and vendors
- Setting deadlines on activities and following through on execution
- Documentation of every event, inquiry, and ensuring processes are followed
- Any other related duties assigned.

As Business Manager at Patrons, you will be expected to deliver against the following key performance indicators:
Revenue Growth & Profitability
- Drive consistent growth in revenue across all business units
- Maintain healthy gross profit margins and ROI on new ventures
Operational Effectiveness
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects and exhibitions
- Improve operational workflows and reduce overhead costs
Business Expansion & Innovation
- Identify and launch new revenue streams or business spin-offs
- Establish strategic partnerships that enhance market presence
Client & Partner Satisfaction
- Foster high client retention and satisfaction rates
- Strengthen relationships with key collectors, institutions, and sponsors
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and manage a high-performing team
- Promote internal growth and learning opportunities
Brand Growth & Market Positioning
- Support the growth of Patrons’ brand visibility and reputation
- Contribute to increased engagement across digital and physical platforms
5. Experience
- 5+ years in business management, strategy, or operations (preferably in creative, cultural, retail, or luxury sectors).
- Strong leadership and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Financial acumen and proven experience managing budgets
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Great communicator with stakeholder relationship skills.
- Passion for art, culture, and innovative business models.
- Comfortable working in a growing, high-energy environment.
- Comfortable with making hard decisions that drive key business results.
- Experience of delivering audience focused interpretation projects.
