Job Summary
As an Automation Engineer at Andster Engineering, you should have a strong background in PLC programming and configuration, also skilled in HMI/SCADA software graphics development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement PLC programs using Siemens PLC S7 Simatic Manager, TIA portal, AB ControlLogix, etc
2. Design and configure automation systems to meet project requirements.
3. Develop HMI/SCADA software graphics
4. Conduct systems troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
6. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technologies.
Qualifications
1. OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in PLC programming and configuration, with expertise in Siemens PLC S7 Simatic Manager, AB PLC, etc
3. Strong understanding of automation systems and control processes.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Experience with other PLC platforms and automation software.
