Job Title: Agricultural Science Teacher
Location: Owerri, Imo
About The Role
- We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Agricultural Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that connect theory with real-world applications. The ideal candidate will help students understand agricultural principles, food production systems, and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Agricultural Science in line with national and British curriculum standards
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons, assessments, and practical activities
- Organize hands-on learning experiences such as farm visits or in-school planting projects
- Introduce students to crop and animal production, soil science, and agri-economics
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments
- Promote awareness of environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture Collaborate with staff on integrated science and school projects

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Agricultural Education, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school
- Strong knowledge of curriculum content and practical agricultural applications
- Good communication and classroom management skills Ability to plan and lead field-based learning
