Accounting, Auditing & Finance

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain financial records.
• Ensure all records, bookkeeping systems, and accounts are exact.
• Establish systems to track and reconcile daily transactions and financial reports, including balances, payments, and statements.
• Work with management to actively monitor and understand budget variances.
• Ensure internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance with local laws.
• Maintain a thorough internal audit trail.
• Coordinate with external audits to ensure that audits are completed on time and according to standards set by Nigerian regulatory agencies.
• Handle continuous financial administration.
Compile and present quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of B.Sc in Accounting or other related fields
• Completed the NYSC program.
• Minimum 3+ years experience as an accountant.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• In-depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Organizational skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Highly observant and analytical.
• Ability to work with confidential information.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is compulsory.
