Accountant Needed
Location: Abuja
We’re looking for a smart and reliable Accountant to join our team!
Location: Abuja
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Resumption: Immediate
Salary: Attractive and negotiable based on experience
Requirements
Must be currently writing ICAN (minimum: Foundation or Skills level)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in computer use — this is very important
Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or QuickBooks
Strong skills in Excel and basic data analysis
Detail-oriented, honest, and accountable
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
Roles & Responsibilities
Record daily transactions and keep books up to date
Manage bank reconciliation, cash flow tracking, and prepare financial reports
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and related statements
Support budget preparation and monitor expenses
File and maintain invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Assist with payroll and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.
Reconcile vendor and customer balances
Support during internal and external audits
Assist in preparing tax schedules and returns
Maintain full confidentiality of all financial records
Any other tasks as assigned by the Managing Partner (MP)
