Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

• Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Reconciling bank statements and ledgers.
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Financial Reporting:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generating reports on income, expenses, and cash flow.
Analysing financial data to identify trends and variances.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assisting with the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitoring expenses against the budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and tax laws.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets.

Other Duties:

• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
• Advising on financial matters and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Staying up-to-date on accounting principles and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as an accountant in the travel agency industry, but these requirements are not mandatory. If the candidate has experience in other industries that is not up to 5 years but at least 3 years, we can still consider this.
Degree in accounting or related field.
