We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of Ora Lagos. Ideal candidates must have sound knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and Nigerian tax systems. Hospitality industry experience is an added advantage.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records for daily transactions, payroll, sales, and expenses
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports
- Reconcile cash, POS, and bank statements regularly
- Process staff payroll and ensure timely statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, pension, etc.)
- Oversee supplier invoicing and monitor inventory costs
- Assist management in budgeting and cost-control initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements Participate in audits and maintain clear financial documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Hospitality/restaurant experience is a plus
