Job Summary
Our client is looking for detail-oriented and reliable Accountants for their manufacturing plants in Lagos and Kano. The ideal candidates must be experienced in production costing, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting in a fast-paced factory setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records, ledgers, and statements.
- Handle cost accounting, product costing, and inventory valuation.
- Monitor factory expenses, petty cash, and supplier payments.
- Prepare monthly reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support external audits and statutory reporting.
- Collaborate with store officers to reconcile physical vs. book stock.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–3years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and factory-accounting savvy.
