HIRING – Accountant (Renewable Energy)

Compensation: Base Pay is N300k monthly net + other benefits

Job Summary: The Company is seeking to hire an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage account payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
- Manage general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.
- Handle payroll processing and tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in financial audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with tax laws, industry regulations, and best accounting practices.
Key Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration or any related discipline.
- ACA/ACCA certification is mandatory.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience with project-level accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of general ledger accounting practices.
- Financial Analysis and Statutory Reporting.
- Problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical thinking, integrity, and accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as independently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₦300,000.00 per month
